Basic Jewelry Making Workshop
Welcome to your next crafting obsession: polymer clay! This versatile medium has captured the hearts of creatives worldwide and for good reason. You can use it to make anything from dainty jewelry to funky figurines, and everything in between.
Join me for this one of a kind, beginner level workshop where I will introduce you to the basics of working with polymer clay. Perfect for craftaholics of all levels, you will leave with your own new fabulous, wearable piece of handmade art!

What do you need to bring?
Only your positive vibes, a heap of enthusiasm and maybe a friend!
Everything you need will be provided including depth guides, rollers, texture tools, blades, work surfaces, hand drills, wipes, fun shape cutters, glitter, assembly tools/pieces and lots more.
What you’ll get
All provided materials.
A minimum of two pairs of fabulous earrings to keep or gift with super cute packaging. One pair will be a guided session to create Birth Flower earrings and from there you will have free time to create whatever you like with help from yours truly.

I’m interested in making polymer clay flowers. Will that be at the workshop?
Making polymer clay flowers takes A LOT of practice so it will not be taught at the beginner workshop. However, I will be hosting more advanced clay workshops soon. So stay tuned!
Is this workshop accessible?
Polymer clay is a beginner friendly and accessible medium, however it does require the use of your hands and arm strength. I will be providing a pasta machine for those who may suffer from carpal tunnel, arthritis or other issues that affect strength in the arms or hands. I suffer from carpal tunnel myself so I understand how debilitating and discouraging it can be!

Who may take part in Yellow House workshops?
My workshops are geared towards age 14+, however I will accept folks who are 12 + 13 years old with a guardian. I am planning to host special workshops geared towards younger folks in future, so if your little is under 12 years old please wait for that announcement!
Otherwise, ALL ARE WELCOME and I truly mean this. I want to ensure folks from all walks of life are comfortable in my workshops.
